me and my pops were watching this GREAT fight only to be distracted during the middle of the fight with merchants whining of how manny got tricked into wearing these gloves. COME ON!! this is basically everything he said during the whole fight

Round 1-4: wow... what a great fight. both fighters coming on strong blah blah blah

Round 5-6: morales' camp TRICKED pac's camp into wearing these gloves.. waaa waaa. another bull**** excuse. if they didnt like the gloves dont take the fight.

Round 7-8: I have it 5 rds to 4.

Round 9-12: I have it 6 rds to 5 for morales but it could easily go the other way for pac WHEN MORALES WAS CLEARLY WINNING BY MORE THAN 1 RD!!!

That's literally all that he said. notice how quiet he was when pac was continuously getting stunned.

yeah man i know, he said on BDSSP that pacquiao is one of his favorite so no surprise there, but expect excuses from the fans

I thought that Barrera was his fav, and we all know how much Barrera hates Erik, so I figured that was why he kept downplaying just about everything Erik did in the ring, and then accused him of "tricking" Manny over the gloves!

My ex-mother in law, who doesnt watch boxing, watched the fight with me, and I never said a word to her and she asked me "what's his problem? I dont know much about boxing, but I know a butt whipping when I see one, but that guy acts like he's the one getting beat"..when a non-fan see's his behavior, etc. I think it's maybe time HBO considered retiring him. His bias shows thru to the point that he's not very professional!

yeah i know what you mean, talkign about how pacquiao wanted the mexican gloves and that Morales tricked him into asian gloves was pathetic excuse

I have never cared much for him. On occasion he will say something insightfull that will get you thinking. But every other time he will say something and your left to wonder if he should be on medication.

For him to cry about the gloves is just ridiculous. In a fight of this magnitude he can not believe that mannys handlers did not go over the proposed contract with a fine tooth comb, and then double check it with a magnifying glass. They knew about the gloves, whether or not they informed manny is not morales' fault. Besides, every contract that I signed for fights I sat down with the promoter and read it, myself. If I had questions or problems they were addressed. Now I took the time to make sure that I was getting a fair shake and I was only fighting for $800. If mannys fighting for millions and wont even take the time to read his own contracts before he signs them, then he deserves what gloves he gets..............Rockin'

Merchant was a little *****, everytime he opened his mouth it was to try to detract from what Morales was doing.

He made Pacquiao ineffective for the larger part of the fight. And as Roy said it, with all these punches landing, the gloves arent a issue.

Pacquiao himself said the gloves were fine and its in the punch not the glove.

doesnt matter what kind of gloves they were... it was a close fight... manny lost some of his steam i feel... he didnt come in strong in the first couple rounds like he always do...
