For any Amercians not aware the BBoC is facing serious racism charges from a Channel Four investigation with many boxers and had "a personal issue" still undisclosed with Benn prior to the tests so they have hardly covered them with glory but if they think he is guilty ban him, for life if necessary BUT don't keep kicking the can down the road he'll end up shadow banned longer than any other boxer in history at this date .. set a trial date do it .. Benn doesn't have to "engage with the system" if he doesn't give evidence he loses by default so that's cr*p.

Just get this over with even if it's a life ban .. what's not ok is saying they will look at this in ten years time then going oh we made a mistake ..

Correct. His refusal to engage with the process and attempts to talk around it have caused this issue for him. I have no sympathy for Benn (or Hearn) who has refused to be accountable, probably owing to his psychology as a privileged kid who entered the sport as a star.

What's worse for him is I think now the ABC is going to uphold the suspension and he won't be able to fight anywhere.

If he's suspended here he can't fight anywhere else regardless. Or more so other places won't sanction whilst he's suspended.

He only fought those two fights overseas because despite not being licensed here, his suspension was lifted when he won his hearing against BBBoC/UKAD. Which no longer applies because UKAD/BBBoC won the appeal to overturn the hearing they lost.

he should just do what dillion whyte does, he has a contaminated supplement pack at all times hidden in his bedroom just to be sure, then he just says omg another contaminated supplement i just cant believe my bad luck, say he will sue everyone and then dont sue anyone and just continue on again, basic but works

He threw a lot of bullsh-t against the wall to see if any of it stuck, contaminated supplements being just one of his excuses. I’m not inclined to believe someone like that, and obviously neither were UKAD and the BBBoC.

He didn't throw anything against a wall, he listed possible reasons as to why he failed his tests due to contamination. All of which were possible, leading with contaminated supplements as confirmed by his solicitor.

So you don't believe his contaminated supplement reason despite the fact his trace amounts of Clomid were consistent with supplement contamination. Why?

Or do you just believe these equivalent reasons for fighters that you like?

If you’re referring to Canelo he stuck to one simple explanation and named specific places where he could have been contaminated and it was believable based on what is publicly known about the beef industry in the country where those places are located.

Conor Benn on the other hand threw a bunch of sh-t at the wall hoping something would stick, blaming contaminated eggs or maybe it was tainted supplements? While never once giving a source for the eggs or explaining how he got them in a country where clomiphene in egg production is not allowed. As far as I know he never gave a list of the supplements he took or where he got them from either.

That's called exploring every possibility. Why would it matter that he had more than one possible explanation? It could have been egg consumption. It also could have been a contaminated supplement which again his solicitor stated was their key evidence.

You have no idea what sources were given because the NAPD hearings are confidential. He's submitted his evidence in regards to where the potential contamination came from.

Regardless, despite his reasons Canelo accepted his punishment from the commission and got it over with. Benn decided to fight the ruling of his commission and went overseas to get around it and now he has prolonged his punishment. The two situations are not very equivalent at all.

Well Benn didn't go overseas to get around it, so you're wrong there. He had a hearing in the UK, with the BBBoC and UKAD and he won and his suspension was lifted. That's why he fought overseas, because he was allowed to.

Secondly, they are almost exact equivalents.

Both failed 2 tests, for trace amounts. Both claim innocence, both blamed contamination, and both have provided possible reasons as to where the contamination came from. They are close to identical as you could get, only difference being Canelo failed for a much more potent drug, and Canelo blamed meat whereas Benn blamed supplements. Both as likely as each other to be true.

You deem one a cheater and one not a cheater. Weird.
