Said it many times, Shakur dropped the ball for multiple paydays in the future by overrating his value as a challenger to the undisputed champion. He would have mandatories lined up with him being perma-A side. Navarette would've only had him to fight for a belt. Loma would've certainly jumped on a chance at undisputed again one last time. And most of all he could've called out Tank to fight for a payday, or if Tank refused then call him out as a coward if he refuses.Comment

Hoping that Shakur has figured out that staying with top rank would be disastrous for his career. At least he figured it out earlier than Bud, who waited til he was in his 30s. Shakur only 26 and still got prime years left. We shall see.Comment

Maybe, but the Top Rank runs the division bar for Tank. Shakur has to build his legacy, like Floyd, then move up and take the $$$ fights.Comment

Shakur is making the intelligent move. And if its not than he'll come back after a 2 or 3 fight deal & sign a 2 or 3 fight deal with Bob. This is a low risk, high reward play. Shakur don't wanna be Bud & not get his flowers til his mid 30's.Comment
