Seems like a step backwards if Wilder wins, imo, but I'm open to the idea.

Yeah, you have a point. If Wilder beats Zhang, he will want Joshua. If Wilder loses to Zhang, he probably retires or takes a very safe fight next.

But, you must take the fight that is on the table, not the fight you want...I guess Turki wants him to fight Anderson..

So , what's the plan if Wilder loses to Zhang ? I don't see Anderson vs Zhang happening , unless they throw some seriously long green at Zhang. He's got to be close to a title shot.
