No way Yarde deserves another title fight, even an interim. Yarde's record since Kovalev has been filled with D list fighters with the exception of A rank Beterbiev and C rank Arthur. This is Yarde's 3rd title fight despite not fighting top 10 ranked guys, maybe Lyndon Arthur was at that point in time, but no one else.

Its a good lhw fight, beterviev injured so i dont see a problem making it interim belt/eliminator type of fight. Both are top ranked contenders after all.

Winner of Bivol vs Artur is the Undisputed champ. This belt means nothing, especially since Artur already beat yarde.

The winner of that fight has the likes of Benavidez, Morrell and Buatsi looking to dethrone them. Good fights.

Warren has always had sway with the WBO. I think he's behind this and will use it as leverage to get Yarde in the ring given that it's his side (namely his trainer Tunde) who has been holding this up. Yarde has always wanted this fight, even more so than Buatsi arguably, but there seemed to be an impasse when it came to the financial split, particularly on the Yarde-Warren side of the street. Hopefully having the WBO interim on the line will help Yarde's team see sense and accept the fight. The interim belt won't put any more money on the table of course, but it's a belt nonetheless and more importantly, a gateway to bigger fights, bigger paydays, and a potential shot at the undisputed in Saudi once all is said and done. Buatsi-Yarde is a 50/50 fight and a guaranteed moneymaker for them both; a huge London derby that will do great business in the UK if built and promoted correctly. It's also a great fight full stop, so let's get it signed.

Agree this is a good fight. With Bivol and Betrrbiev tied up it is arguably the best out there at 175 and it will sell out any arena in London. This is Yarde’s last chance, but I’ve got Buatsi.

Some nice stuff at 175. Buatsi-Yarde, Kaladjic- Morrell jr, Benavidez - Gvozdyk. Just take away these pointless interim belts.
