So how would you explain the global image of the US which invades third world non-white nations only? Are we not also sports washing our genocide and global wars?
That's not the point, he's talking about boxing, and the unintended long term negative implications. Yes, the US government as guilty of many, many things but blowing up the sport of boxing to make geopolitical brownie points isn't one of them.

All Ennis has to do is move up and beat Murtazaliev. Eventually Crawford will come looking for that IBF strap.

The problem is those other sports are well run organized sports with a central management to work with. Boxing is a corrupt sport ran by shady people all over the world. The Saudis are not going to monopolize the sport especially in America. They (and Dazn) are going to pick a few fighters off from TR and PBC and sign them to multi (3) fight deals. This is done just to prevent TR and PBC from putting on a few fights that people want now even though they don't have a successful road map for the boxers they sign. They can throw 50 million at every fighter just to lure them over but at some point the Saudis will realize they are just losing millions of dollars with no profits in the future. When they finally decide to leave the sport thise fighters careers will be in shambles and they will be crawling back to TR and PBC begging on hands and knees!
It's not about making money it's about burnishing their global image and there is a beginning and an end to that. In the meantime the PBC, Golden Boy and Top Rank may or may not survive the run up, and even if they do, as soon as the free money stops flowing the bubble is going to pop like the 2006 real estate crash.

Wont happen, Crawford has only a few fights left, maybe fight another champ at 154 or even 160 and try to get that Canelo fight.

This. There will come a time when the Saudis move on to something else. The problem is that when that happens, boxing would have been effectively consolidated under them and boxers will have been used to being heavily overpaid. The only way I can see this as a benefit for the sport is of the promoters continue to work together to make big fights. It has to happen outside of Saudi Arabia on a regular basis though. They have to make big fights in the usa, U.K., and other nations around the world. I’ve never liked the “if the money is right” excuse, never liked it. That’s something you only see in boxing and it’s been the mindset used to avoid the most dangerous fights and at the same time bankrupt DAZN and cause pbc to lose its mojo on both FOX and Showtime

Perhaps so but context is what matters.
The US brags and gloats about democracy and freedom all the time. We then wage wars or overthrow governments in the name of “giving them democracy, freedom and protecting them from tyranny

We have the media justifying everything we do and we have academic colleges literally give us revisionist history.

Saudi Arabia wants to host the 2030 World Cup and people in the West and the US specifically are aghast. They talk about human rights issues in Saudi Arabia. Man, I could write a dozen paragraphs of human rights issues in the US in less than twenty minutes. If anything the 2026 World Cup should not be in the US.
Whatever Saudi Arabia is doing pales in comparison to what we have done.

Ennis could do just that but Bud will find another excuse not to fights him,

If hearns really wants boots v bud, stop wasting time at 147 because there’s nothing bud wants there. Challenge for the 154 ibf title, then bud has to see boots for another undisputed

Didn't take long for Hearn to nab Ennis when that thing with his promoter made headlines. We're witnessing history, guys!
