Comments Thread For: Vasiliy Lomachenko to Face Shakur Stevenson With Win Over George Kambosos

This is going to be a fun run to watch. Can Lomachenko still be great at 36? Even before age became a bigger factor, 135 seemed to be his peak. Fighting larger opponents became more of a difficult task even for someone as great as he is. But at 36, how much more does Loma have in the tank? I for one am excited to see how far Loma can still go. I hope he can accomplish his dream of becoming undisputed.CPNUTKnockoutFreshMart likes this.

Loma skill level should be enough, but Loma could get caught. Loma would be underdog against any of these other top guys at the weight.

Or a fighter he said he lost ‘millions’ on and had no star-power in Bud Crawford. How come he said he’d be willing to work with him again?
Questions.. questions.
If I was Shakur I’d run for the hills. Arum promised Crawford the Pac fight for 4 years, only to later on say he didn’t want Pac to get hurt LOL.
Spoke about Shakur vs Loma numerous times and Navarette vs Shakur… yet here we are. Run for the hills and sign with matchroom…

bud & shakur are best buddies
surely bud will be on to any antics arum may be up to in a flash
shakur would benefit greatly from a loma fight tho especially if it was a unification fight
arum did nothing for loma tho in the devin haney big fight, that old ass guy could have easily swung a very close fight like that for a loma decision if he wanted to, but he didnt

Baltimore, Chicago, Oakland are nothing compared to the the worst cities in Mexico. You’ll get robbed, beaten, r5ped, trafficked and thrown in the ocean. ‘Thugs’ hahaha.
I’m very well educated on history, current affairs and BOXING. I don’t understand why you still challenge me puta LOL.

He was supposed to lose when he faced American former IBF lightweight champion Mickey Bey in the US.
He was supposed to lose when he faced British former IBF featherweight champion Lee Selby in the UK.
He was supposed to lose when he faced American reigning unified, lineal lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez in the US.
Three wins in a row as a road b-side against current or former titlists is not a one hit wonder.
Haney clowned him twice and he looked bad against Hughes too, but those fights don't change what he accomplished. He wasn't even supposed to make it to the Lopez fight, let alone win it.
