I hope he made some good money. I would like to see him get a nice pay day then retire. Maybe he can fight a guy like valdez for a nice check and retire

Had the privilege of watching him at the Garden v Rigo. Hoping his show closer is a celebratory one.

One of the most entertaining fighters to watch when he was in his prime. He's always been his own worst enemy though.

Loma was good for boxing, one of the best of his era. He will be missed when he retires, and remembered by many as a tricky & effective fighter with great moves.

People forget by the time Loma hit the scene he was already like 28 or 29 years old..So what he was able to accomplish in a short span of 6 years has been great..

I was also there that night, what a night.. when that fight was over not one person in that room walked out without knowing for sure who the best boxer in the world was at that moment in time

I remember watching Loma as an amateur. I totally looked forward to his pro career. He had some great moments; but no doubt, had he turned pro only a few years earlier, his career would’ve been even more outstanding. “The Matrix” was a lot of fun to watch.
