WBO super lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez will fight next on June 29 in Miami. He will box Calgary's Steve Claggett, 38-7-2 (26 KOs), in his first fight since an unspectacular outing against Jamaine Ortiz in Las Vegas in February.

Man Teo has had some ****** match making these last couple fights. Teo is the type of guys that gets up for the big ones he likes being counted out and against guys like Ortiz and clogged he fights to their level.

Let's hope that Clagget don't start doing some "clogging" dance steps inside the ring or we could see a pattern developing here with this guy Teo-thema ...............

Teo does better agains fighters that will come at him or are offensive minded and not so well with fighters that have good feet movement. Is like he doesn't know how to cut off the ring. Exactly why he also finds himself on his ass.

Teo's career has stalled - this is a backward move - although Claggett deserved a step up fight after a string of victories - but his step-up should be against Ortiz but that wouldn't reward him so he gets a pay-packet to fight Teo and we all get a fight that zero fans are asking for - this is on Top Rank - BS promoting. Teo vs Ryan would be good. Or also Matias - but that would be the end of Teo's career

He's right that Garcia is out of the mix for 2+ years, so his team should target a unification fight with the Matias-Paro winner. That's a worthwhile, entertaining and winnable matchup for Teo.

                    I'm almost there myself.
                    Teo Shmeo.
I think Garcia, Tank, and Shakur all beat this guy.
Haney too, probably, but I don't even want to think about that.
