You have been poisoned by the PBC/American once a year boxers way too much. Inoue had 4+ month "break" between Tapales and Fulton. Assuming the Goodman match is going to be early September that is still close to another 4 month "break" as well. He didn't get any major injury outside the generic bruising even considering the KD, and not to mention he likes fighting and is a gym rat who likes to work out anyway.

bro, fighting too much in a year will only backfire on him... he wont take the fight as serious because he's been fighting way too often..

i know being active is supposed to be a good thing but I feel like he's over doing it and this will be his downfall.

I feel like he was sloppy in the nery fight, he was getting caught with shots he wouldnt have in the past.. it wasnt the same inoue that we are used to seeing and I feel that's because he's fighting way too much.

With such weak power Inoue would have zero respect for him. Likely walks him down all night, pressures him and eventually KO’s him. He can run in the ring if he wants, but he can’t hide.

It is true fighting too often will certainly backfire, however three times a year once every 4 month is definitely not too often. Fighting 4 to 5 times a year I can see people saying too often, but not 3.

The reason he got sloppy against Nery wasn't because of too much fighting, but because of him fighting Nery in Tokyo Dome and all the meaning of the fight. Even Inoue himself basically admit it in the post-game interview that he jumped the gun with all the excitement but once he got down his mind cleared up and the rest was just a beatdown.

He would've done the same even if he had 8 month between instead of 4.

which other fighters is fighting 3x a year??? this is not normal. most fighters fight twice in a year and some just once... I like like he should do 2 fights per year only.. 1 at the beginning and 1 close to the end.

he looked good vs fulton, he looks sharp.... His next fight against tapales, even tho he won by KO, i felt like he didnt really look that good prior to the KO...

then his fight against nery, he was very sloppy... he didnt look good at all.. getting hit with shots that he wouldnt have... and I feel it's because his body/mind is tired.

Even when just thinking about champions right off the top of my head I can think of Luis "Venado" Lopez (last fought May23-Sep23-Mar24)and Junto Nakatani (May23-Sep23-Feb24). I didn't check but pretty sure Kenshiro Teraji and the newly crowned Yoshiki Takei also fought three times in 12 month. Leading up to winning his belt so did Anderson Espinoza. He got a gift draw last time but Navarette as well.

Basically a lot of non-overentitled lower weight boxers who don't waste their time on the internet?
