How do you feel about Lopez vs Gamboa NOW??

The Mtagwa fight reinforced my belief Gamboa KO's Lopez under 10 rounds. Lopez has pretty ****ty defense that Gamboa would exploit with his vastly superior hand speed and more explosive punching power.

If/when the fight goes down, I'll put up to 25 million on Gamboa to win.

    Gamboa has no defence

    Lopez has a poor defence

    Both can punch.

    Both are overrated.

Should be a good fight while it lasts.

Gamboa has shown improved defense over his last few fights. He's more patient, less wild. His quickness does allow him to dodge punches, so it's silly to say he has no defense.

I think Gamboa wins the early rounds with his speed and then Lopez starts to adjust and starts to hit him more and more. Lopez stops him late in the fight

Not really. He has been down a whole lot in such a short career. He has all the skills in the world but defensively he is terrible. Reflexes only get you so far.

Well for one, as I mentioned he's shown defensive improvements over the last few fights. Two, at least all of his knockdowns were flash knockdowns and he always got up at the count of "1," which shows he was never hurt. Those KD's came as a result of being off balance while he was attacking (so those always came when he was offensive, not defensive). He's cleaned up his game quite a bit and is less wild.

He has most definitely showed improvement in his defense over the last few fights, and he only has 16 pro fights... he will only get better... but to say he has NO defense.. IS, an over-exaggeration.
