Respect the guy for his achievements and for wanting the fight, but c'mon. Akhmadaliev, Goodman, Casimero, and Aleem are all way ahead of Doheny in line for a shot at Inoue.

Under the circumstances that Inoue somehow decides to stay in 122 until 2026 or later, MAAAAAAAYBE his turn might come if he continues to take out the top 10 in order, and that is also a big if. MJ and Goodman are all but locks for this year (barring Inoue getting injured today or something), but after that I see him moving up to 126.

Can we please stop this sweepstakes bullshhhh. It’s lazy writing and denigrates the sport. This ain’t no damn lottery, it’s not a giveaway. Contention is the appropriate term. Fking writers who are too damn lazy to actually write.
