Dmitry should just fight Benavidez - Gvozdyk winner next

He already lost the whole 2023. Shouldn't remain inactive the whole 2024, because Beterbiev is 'injured'.

I told you guys. Beterbiv and Arum don't want this. They know who wins.

I agree 100% and if Benavidez can beat Bivol he would have one upped Canelo, the pressure would be at a boiling point.

If they were going to make up a fake injury, they wouldn't pick a torn meniscus. A torn meniscus will show up on an MRI and Bivol's team would obviously have asked for an MRI if there were any doubt to the legitimacy of the injury.

If they were going to fake something they'd pick an injury that doesn't show up on any x-rays, scans, or other objective means of diagnosis so everyone would have to take the fighter's word for it.

Bivol should absolutely wait on Beterbiev. Beterbiev has the lineal championship, he has three belts and the TBRB title, and it's for the undisputed championship and vacant Ring Magazine Championships. There's no fight out there that is bigger for Bivol's wallet or legacy.

No, he shouldn`t. remaining inactive for another year or something waiting on old man is a very bad idea. Bivol already looked rusty in his last fight, because he was inactive the whole 2023.

he should fight 2 more times in 2024. With or without Beterbiev.

A torn meniscus is usually a 6-8 week injury if they just do a shave, which they probably will. Joel Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns in the NBA both had the exact same injury this season. Towns returned just 4 weeks later, Embiid took the full 8 weeks, but they both made it back pretty quickly after their surgeries.

There's no reason this should push the fight back more than 3 or 4 months.

Benavidez is bigger fight for Bivol. He is young and Canelo is ducking him. I mean, how much credit would Dmitry even get for beating 40 old Beterbiev, coming from 2 surgeries in the last 2 years?

While some guys already claim Benavidez beats Bivol. Lets see it.

It would be Beterbiev`s cash out fight really.

I think that even his team doesn`t believe he can beat Bivol, not with all these injuries in the last years.

Beterbiev aged himself out. He shouldn`t have left DAZN when Bivol joined.

Bivol and his management are absolute morons not taking the Nelo rematch.
