Surprising Canelo came in so light. Seems like that’s a sign he has been able to train to the fullest, and maybe he’s telling the truth about being injury free.

I know it probably is a minor detail for most people but Magdaleno missing the limit by 2.6 lbs is even worse than Garcia missing super light by 3 lbs (disregarding the PED stuff and such) given the initial weight difference. He's closer to super featherweight limit than featherweight.

I'm thinking Charlo but trying to win and getting knocked out. Does that about cover it?

I never once called him a Cruiser. Canelo on the other hand said he was going to fight the HW champ of the world.

Canelo should keep viva Mexico to himself until he faces D Benevidez!

Because he's a name who had a belt.

Same reason Gamboa ran the gauntlet of Tank, Haney, Cruz.

It's a good name to get on your resume, they're shot to pieces and need a check.

Even though Munguia is a dangerous and strong world-class fighter, there are levels in boxing, and Canelo is in a superior level. I see a fast, effective, entertaining and powerful "Cinnamon" stopping the taller, younger Munguia in around eight rounds, the third man Thomas Taylor halting the uneven onslaught.

Unfortunately and horribly for fans, WBC's Duane Ford has assigned again the worlds worst boxing judge: Tim Cheatham.

QUESTION: Aren't more qualified boxing judges in the USA?

Yeah Munguia ain't gonna fight like Charlo. That was the definition of turning up surviving and getting a cheque. The whole build up he was acting like he was gonna do that Munguia is gonna come forward let his hands go because he don't know how to fight any other way but in doing that he'll probably get stopped late on I'm saying to the body.

In 10+ years of seeing Canelo body shot predictions, he’s only been able to put down Fielding, who had a hydration clause, and Liam, for a fight there was no testing. Sure, there’s always the possibility, but Canelo isn’t the devastating body puncher so many people claim he is.

Yeah, I always scratch my head at how many people predict a Canelo body KO every fight.
