  • Anybody still a Haney fan? I say this with all due respect

The fight happened because Haney is a warrior, he didn't want to ruin or rob us of a eventful prize fight. Also the 1.5 million means nothing right now, risking his health against being remunerated, I would choose the health is wealth take. Not saying I would refuse the fight if I was Haney, but honestly, his desire for greatness should be rewarded with positive feedback. We all talk about John Ruiz holding and this and that, but yet he's on every single mythical h2h matchup in the classic section. Why is that that Devon gets disrespected a whole bunch because he holds? Dammit man, the kid is the goods, nothing but class, just because he's a big dude that makes weight doesn't make him a PED abuser or user. I see a lot of positives with the kid. A good heart, and very mature and respectful for his age. I have nothing against bill Haney either. Were acting like bill and Devon are club fighters and a yes man who threw a towel over his shoulder, c'mon! These 2 guys made it to the TOP echelon of boxing, and their pockets are done swole fat, tell that to the fool azz earth dudes, lol.

I respect every fighter from clubroom amateurs to top ten prizefighters. It takes a lot of guts to climb through those ropes. I have a feeling people won't take this comment too well. I'm not about hate, I love positivity, and I wish nothing but fairness to Garcia, whether he gets banned, loses the w, suspended, whatever. Either way he is redeemable. You have to understand that I'm coming from the notion that you don't play this, boxing is real. And we're talking about peds that can kill a man. However I understand that not all peds are able to create a superhuman power. I have no knowledge on ostarine.

Yeah but despite the weight and the PEDs he's going to have to fix some things.

the guy is fantastic, as long as he is at least 15 to 20 pounds heavier than his opponent of course

Performance enhancing drugs by the opponent isn't going to keep him from shaky defense defending the left hook.

Yeah. I will still watch him.

He needs to work on a few things. That said, this loss will be minimized given Ryan’s multiple cheating.

I was never a fan but I respected his willingness to fight dangerous opponents and the hard work he has put in to get to where he's at.

I never really rated him that highly to begin with but understood that he's young and had potential to improve. Then he impressed me in the Lomachenko fight even though I thought he lost, I thought it was still a good performance. I thought he looked good in the Prograis fight too. He seemed to be maturing as a fighter moving away from his previous MO of jabbing, running and hugging and becoming more rounded.

My worry is now that he's been beaten, hurt and dropped, will he be more reluctant to face challenges and will he revert to a more negative, safety first style?
