I have pretty much enjoyed boxing since the 80s with no real complaints. That's YOU guys complaining about these so called 10k phantom fights that we never got and how this Turki guy is going to save us from boxing purgatory l. The only fights that marinated to long is May vs Pac (gross near 700milly) and Bud vs Spence (gross 90 milly). The only ones I'm mad that we didn't get AJ vs Wilder and Jermell vs Jarrett Hurd. And that's because I understand the business of boxing and because the sport isn't under one umbrella then there's always going to be fighting between promoters and networks of who controls the lion share of the proceeds. In contrast, Wilder vs Anderson is a fight that no one asked for and also doesn't make sense as an undercard fight because it won't generate any income. Now if you do want that fight then it needs to headline an ESPN PPV show promoted by Top Rank to generate the max amount of income and exposure possible to market Jared as the heir apparent to the next American HW star. But you fools want this to be the third fight from the top under the Bud and Tszyu fights on Dazn, an App that only .00000000000000000001% of America knows exist. CLOWN SHYTE BRO! CLOWN SHYTE!!
I get your point about maximizing the dollars for this fight but I have never been a fan of "weak" undercards. The last few decades of PPV have been a main event with underwhelming undercards. All or most of the money goes to the main event. Not a good practice IMHO. Also, do not forget about the people showing up for the fights. Sitting through hours of terrible fights, waiting for the main event? Bad news. Does stacking a card bring in more buys? Maybe, maybe not but the Saudis are making their mark either way. Will they last in the game? time will tell.

I hear you bro but unfortunately this how how the business of boxing is done. I wish every PPV fight had three A level fighters fighting on the same card but its not feasible in the long run. The C and D level fighters are happy to be on a PPV for small paychecks because they need the exposure. The A level guys are going to get the lions share because they are marketed to the public as the only reason to buy the fight. Canelo, Tank and Usyk would be a great card but it can't happen but I respect your opinion bro!!!

I guess I'm not the guy that hates boxing PPVs like a lot of people. I buy 99% of the PPVs no matter which network it's on because I to me boxing is wayyyy more affordable to be a fan of as compared to the other American sports. Let's say between PBC + TR + Dazn in 2024 we get 8 PPV shows at 80$ a pop. That's 640$ for one year of boxing PPVs. Compare and contrast that to the NFL (my team Washington Red.....Commanders). Season tickets for two seats about 30 rows back from the field 600$. One game is the entire cost of one year of boxing PPVs. There are 8 NFL home games in a season which totals about 5 grand for 2 seats. Parking iss 100$ a game. Food and drinks not included so you have to spend about 200$ just to keep my greedy azz son happy. That still doesn't include jerseys and other paraphernalia that comes with being a fan. Don't forget paying fir redzone and the NFL channel on Verizon fios. And that's just football. Don't get me started on basketball. My super rich buddy let's us have his two floor seats when he's out of town. He told me the upcoming 2024/25 NBA season tickets will run him about 42k dollars. Also I gotta take my son to about ten Washington National baseball games every year. So just being a fan of the other 3 major sports can drain you of about 12-15k dollars every year. So when there is a boxing PPV that I know is only going to cost me 80 bucks flat with no strings attached like parking, jerseys or a 45 dollar 12 Oz watered down beer I am very happy to pay for boxing and don't really need five fights to involve A level fighters on the card. In the greater scheme of things boxing gives you great **** FOR YOUR BUCK compared to the other sports!

Anderson didn't look good last Time out , which takes a bit of the shine off. IF Wilder does a job on Zhang then he's back in the elite squad and Anderson for me , although a good prospect is not. Bob said Anderson will be making his move in 2025 I think a couple of more decent tests and stick to that.

Oh no, the Saudis got it in to rob ZZ? Don't worry, even if wilder loses to zz, we still want Jared v wilder. We have a right to know who is no1 American heavyweight now.

wtf lol. watching talking heads and waiting 45 mins between each fight with an overmatched opponent, corrupt judging and or officiating. CRAZY. 75%of boxing fans left the sport in last 25 years. it's because the whiney fighters not wanting fight the best, and the corrupt b.s. I've already spoken on. my life ain't so boring that I am even slightly amused by 95% of those lame ppvs. now then Saudis being involved and stacking cards again like they were in 90s King era, I'll pay and watch. but you sir, no disrespect, sound crazy, like you have way to much time on your hands and just think up silly ish

The only thing Anderson needs to do is to avoid the right hand. If Wilder lands it, it will be good night Carolina
