This fight adds little value to an already stacked card.

If you don't get this turkey da smurki guy otta here! Why the hell would any promoter add a Wilder fight to a card like this. Why don't we just add AJ, Fury, Spence, Canelo, Tank, Bud, Monster, Ryan, Matias and maybe Boots vs Virgil can open the show. WTF??? Boxing is still a business and these fights need to be spread out throughout the year because not only the fighter but also the people that invest in the fights need to maximize as much money as they can for each event. It's great to have two really good undercard fights but you can't have ten headliners on one show. Jeez will the whole Saudi flash in a pan thing just hurry up and run its course already!

Top Rank is cutting their loss. Jared is not cut out for boxing but hope I hope I am wrong.

Turki has the right thoughts about making fights that fans want to see. I don't think Wilder beats Zhang though.

If he somehow does, it'd be surprising to see him want to fight a couple of months afterwards, but money can entice people.

Remember Kovalev, who took a big money fight with Canelo not long after having a hard fight against Yarde.

In my humble, unimportant opinion,,Wilder loses his fight with Zhang so this is kind of wishful thinking to me.

I like Wilder's chances of winning against Anderson more than Zhang.

It's not too soon if not now, then never! He's a grown ass man. Jared just need to work on defense because Wilder we all know can punch, but he can't box a lick so this could be easy work. Stop sleeping on Jared, I told people the same thing about a heavyweight in the 1984 box offs who loss to Henry Tilman and wouldn't go to the Olympics, but would become a fan favorite household name and world champion that will go down in history, all because I seen what he did as an amateur to a Detroit teammate of mines in a PAL tournament in Buffalo, NY and now many have Mike Tyson stories. Never say never!

How much longer would you want to nurse him ? ... His "best" win is Sir Charles"Freakin'" Martin FGS ... The "next-big-thing" has to start working on his credentials at some point...

That said, this version of Wilder doesn't have a free pass against Zhang ... He's actually the B side in that one... You know, the one that makes you make $$$$ ...

If Wilder was still Wilder maybe this fight could happen. As it stands Wilder will need a maasive rebound to get past Zhang. Even if he did I doubt he could be ready to fight again in August. It's a shame HW boxing didn't have all these youngsters with potential 5 or 6 years ago.
