Wonder what the over/under would be that. Four Australians are world champs by the end of May

I'd say he is probably the most likely to be able to score an upset on that card. Now, don't get me wrong as I'm not saying Takei will have better odds to win than Moloney, but saying that his style as a boxer has the biggest probability of an outside upset KO win compared to Nery or Ishida. Pulling numbers out for the sake of example, the way I personally see the May 6th card:

            9:1 Inoue-Nery
I expect Inoue to win but the harder question will more be what round he wins via KO, or if Nery goes all-Butler and is in full survival mode for the whole match and lasts until an UD win.

            8:2 Takuma-Ishida
This isn't me saying Takuma is necessary a stronger champion than Moloney in a vacuum, but more so that his opponent Ishida essentially an overall lesser version of Takuma as a boxer and the type that Takuma can outbox with relative ease. They both are not exactly a KO artist and more of a down to the basics guy but Takuma is (1) younger age 28 to age 32, (2) have better resume, (3) better defense, (4) better speed than Ishida. Ishida also doesn't have Takei's power to hope for a puncher's chance to get a win via late KO. I expect a relatively average solid UD win by Takuma, with an outside chance of Takuma surprising with another KO if his Ancajas match wasn't a fluke.

            7:3 Moloney-Takei
First of all Moloney will have far better odds to win by de facto. Moloney has better technique, defensive skills, stamina, and experience. I would bet the most likely outcome is an UD win by Moloney, but if an upset were to happen though, it will be Takei managing to get one good punch into Moloney where he buckles, and KOing him in that chance. That is Takei's biggest strength literally, as in terms of pure punching power and damage he has more power than Inoue even going back to his kickboxing era. Of course Inoue has better everything else so if they were to fight it won't be anywhere close, but suppose Inoue had a 10 for all his skills Takei has 12 or 13 for power and like 5 or 6 for everything else. In other words that is likely the only way Takei will win against Moloney. However Takei's power (for bantamweight) is extremely high (probably better than Nakatani as well) to that point that if Moloney somehow mistakenly decides to try to outslug him and trade punches he might be in for a painful night. In a perfect night for Takei, he will be trailing via points through majority of the night, but will get a dramatic mid-late KO win.

            6:4 or 5:5 Akui-Kuwahara
A close match that I'm giving a small edge to Akui only because he has a bit better resume and won a close match against Kuwahara 3 years ago, but frankly this is a match where I won't be surprised either if Kuwahara were to get his revenge thus not exactly an upset IMO.

This didn't end well for the Australians last time, on the weekend of the Tszyu fight.
