Oscar really is a bit of a magnet for all of the attention in a room. The dude has always stolen the spotlight regardless of who he was fighting. Even Floyd and Manny (given before they were who they would eventually become) took second name billing and "B-side" in the negotiations with Oscar. This translates even today and also when Canelo was with him. Oscar commands press conferences and sort of stands out as the alpha in the room and Canelo just cannot tolerate that. The alternative would be to literally clock him and you can't go doing that sort of ****. I actually do believe Canelo doesn't like Oscar getting any attention at these events over him. For all of Canelo's popularity it doesn't really compare to Oscar when he was fighting.

i have to say it was a silly article also. they are just trying to drain the last bit of hype and hustle before the fight takes place hoping that they can pull in a few more dollars it is thier job after all. It would be nice for Mung Bean to get the win it would help boxing it would be a nice story and if it were a solid but controversial win so much the better. Yet i could see Mung or anyone knocking Saul around the ring and still not getting the nod.....................such is boxing although it sounds from a distance like the tide is turning on Saul not as many kiss up articles as usual for one of his fights so who knows but the shadows of boxing....Enjoy it if you watch it or just wait for the results.

I think mungai is the better option then benavides and has better skills but they are both tailor made for canelos style , only fighters who have very good feet have a good chance against Canelo , aggressive fighters are easy work for canelos counter punching skills as long as he is fit ,I don't see any flat footed aggressive fighter beating a fit Canelo , but I look forward to this fight , normally I like betting on underdogs , I'm finding it hard to back mungai after watching the highlights of him vs dervenchenko, maybe I might change my mind but for now I think it's about picking which round Canelo wins in for betting purposes

Jealous of what? 140k Ppv buys and a 900k dollar gate? Nah I just want consistency. If last Saturday night was a Showtime PPV you guys would've been screaming to the rafters by 8am Sunday about where are the #s. You would be calling for Espinoza's head on a stick if he didn't provide them. Now you guys are radio silent. Let's keep that sameeeeeeeeeeeeeečeeeeeeeeeee energy fam!

IF Munguia makes it to the 8th he can f Clenelo up, the problem is getting there.
