Just read about that. That is very sad what has happened and how he is posting his pain online.

If canelo was 10 years younger. This would be an easy fight. He’s not. I predict a tuff fight that no matter who wins. Canelo will have his hand raised.

Since when do ABc rankings mean anything? Hell Nery is ranked #1 by them too Inoue is fighting everyone in his division, he’s not hiding behind some “I’m the king I do what I want” horse**** while trying to fight someone multiple divisions below him.

And if Munguia is #1 with WBC then what’s Benavidez? 0? -1? You gonna pretend Berlanga is a great opponent too in September?

Canelo should fight Benavidez. No argument there.
Canelo would not be getting the hate if his plan was to fight Munguia, Benavidez, and Morrell for his next three fights at 168 or inevitably moving up to 175 to fight for the belts.

I for one will diss on Inoue just as well if he was planning on staying at 122 after going undisputed but picking to fight Nery followed by the likes of Liam Davies while refusing to fight his other mandatories by claiming that Sam Goodman hasn't proven enough yet to warrant a title fight with him and MJ doesn't exist in 122 or something.

Fulton was seen as the most dangerous fighter at 122 when Inoue moved up - and he went right for him.

We see weak mandatories all the time, but Canelo wouldn’t be getting grief over this if he didn’t refuse certain mandatories while facing others. We agree on David B
