Noooooo...what we want to know is how much did the PPN numbers do? How much upside (or downside) did Ryan and Devin take home. C'mon peeps let's keep the sameeeeeeeee energy we had for Showtime PPV fights. We would be demanding PPV buys and gate revenue now. We never gave the network the respect of waiting ten days to tally everything up. Fuq it I'll just do a Rick Glaser and invent a lie....PPV buys = 13k .... gate = 819,436. There we go that's what it is folks!

You have no trainer see what happens 10% is nothing should be 25% how do you think he goes to show the fighter in trainer car

A few fighters today do get paid huge amounts, not just in Saudi.

But also, Algieri is correct, they don't actually get what is reported, but their net taking is less than half or about a third of the gross salary.

Chris Algieri never became a star, but he knows a thing or two on how it feels being shortchanged. He was set to make $500K in the Spence fight years ago and apparently his promoter back then wanted a large portion of it. Don't remember exactly the details, but the squabble was made public. Spence made $250K, btw.

I never get why people mention taxes - its he same for everyone in nearly every country or state - and especially for US citizens as Uncle Sam still thinks you owe him taxes even if you live in Outer Mongolia for 20 years - unlike other tax jurisdictions. The only way out of it is a renounce your citizenship - even then they probably check to see if you owe any taxes before letting you renounce.

a lot of boxers are aiming for financial security before their career runs out, not sure what that means but a paid off house and a few rental properties would be pretty good going, they are 35 and touch wood have their health and on to new things, happy days if it works out for u that is of course

I agree, but more realistically a paid off house is mostly important. The rental properties go out the window once these guys see new money. They dont think that far along.

when the money stops flowing the maintenance on a Ferrari or Lambo becomes too much. The trash ***elry they buy only sells back at pennies on the dollar. (Custom ***elry)

The smart ones (only a few of them) purchase homes in cash, drive a Lexus, and live off the interest of their high earnings between fights.
