Shakur is supremely talented but he isn’t a draw and doesn’t have an exiting style. He’s gonna struggle getting the big fights IMO.
By “it makes sense”, he really means “it makes sense for Top Rank”, which it does. It would raise Shakur’s profile and Shakur is about 65-35 to win that fight, while the other guy is driving up the ppv gate.

That fight unfortunately makes no business sense for Tank, and would need Saudi money to spark (which might happen who knows).

To be honest I don't ever want to see Stevenson against any other fighter after the disgraceful way he fought against De Los Santos!
I mean who want's to see someone (Stevenson), or any other fighter for that matter, run around the ring for any amount of rounds.
If he would've actually fought De Los Santos, that would've been an interesting fight, but he was afraid to getting caught by one of De Los Santos power shot's.
So he ran each, and every round hardly throwing a punch in order to win the fight. Why did the judges score the fight in his favor, this was not boxing, it was running.
Part of the blame belongs to the referee, for this fight turning out to be such a fiasco.
He should've stopped the action, and warned Stevenson that if he didn't fight that his purse would be withheld.

The way that Stevenson fights, he doesn't deserve 10%, or a fight with Tank!

                I'll happily watch Tanks fights.
                But i'm done with Shakur.

All this talk about " p4p talent , most skills in the game " doesn't mean much when you have an unappealing style ( for most ).

All the so - called " boxing purist " can keep Shakur and his boring style.

Gimme Tank , Ryan and Teofimo any day of the week.
Fact's! I agree 100% with you Idunnoshet, and I do know some ****!
I couldn't help the word play/pun at the end brother, but I'm dead serious about the beginning of my reply.

After Tank beats Martin who is just....some guy, He should fight either Shakur or the Loma/Kambossos winner. Anything else other than moving up for one of the top dogs at 140 is unacceptable.

For all the Stevenson haters: he had one bad performance get over it.

He’s one of the top p4p fighters in the sport in terms of who can beat who, and even the haters know it deep down.

Fans were just looking for an excuse to hate on him (boxing fans are terrible with this), and all the other fighters were looking for an excuse to duck him, and unfortunately he gave both what they were looking for with that fight.

Tank nor Stevenson would take that fight imo.
