There in lies the problem for Team Boots. Stanionis & Barrios are probably the only fights worth a damn at 147 rn & when/if Boots beats them similarly to how hes beaten others they'll be seen as "not sh^t" more than Boots gets more hype off it with ppl who still see him as a regular run of the mill mfer.

I mean hindsight is 20/20 but that’s just an asinine statement. Showtime was a top 2 boxing broadcaster for 20 years and was the premier #1 boxing broadcaster since HBO bowed out. Not one person not even Stephen Espinoza forseen their exit from the boxing business. Again why are you mad people want to see bud vs ennis? It’s a great fight. He hasn't fought anyone. As far as I'm concerned, it's way past time for him to fight someone in the top 5. And a lot of that is his dad turning fights down. They literally turned down a fight with Bud already. Even if you didn't know that Bud was going to wash Spence, he was still the champ who was defending against mandatories. If he's so sure he beats Bud, why didn't he bet on himself? Haney and Ryan Garcia both had the cojones to bet on themselves. Not Ennis though. If he won, it could have been him in that undisputed fight. Instead he's just an email champ.
Guy is like Tank Davis. Or maybe Edgar Berlanga when he was still on his first round KO streak. He hasn't stepped up in competition.
