Lesson learned. Don't bet on boxing. The more you think you know, the more you're probably going to lose.

A lot of good matchups to be made. Pitbull Cruz is definitely in the mix. If his chin can hold up to the best shots in the division (already did with Tank), he has good chances to beat a lot of guys. His punch output is ridiculous and if you can't fend him off, good luck.

of course “YOU” are pissed because like I said, you just like they haneys saw easy money betting against a guy you all thought was falling apart at the seams. Yall thought yall wouldn’t lose and it bit yall in the behind. As I said this is the only weight missed situation I’ll celebrate and for those very same reasons. The players got played, badly.

Nah fam, serves them right. You know, we all know why he bet…easy money. It bit lots of these dudes hard af in the wallet and I for one and happy about it. The funny thing had Haney won the weight wouldn’t have been an issue to a single one of them outside of throwing shade.

Thanks for proving once again you have zero idea how weight cutting works. Have you ever cut weight before? Ryan not cutting those 3lbs gave him a significant advantage over Haney punch resistance wise, while haneys chin was suffering from those. 3 extra lbs. 143 vs 140 is quite literally the same as 140 vs 135. Why don’t fighters like tank cut to 135 and fight haney who will cut to 140?

It's "quite literally" the same thing? Is three pounds literally the same as 5? Look, you want your excuse to explain the result away. That's fine, stick with it. I won't change your mind either way. Devin got hurt in the very first round and then fought straight up and face to face with Ryan. That's pretty dumb, and he paid for it by getting hit flush repeatedly by a very hard puncher. I'm not prepared to write Devin off and suggest that he has no chance to win a rematch between these two, but even if Devin would have weighed in at 145lbs, the fight last week was going to end the same. Hubris and the belief that Ryan was unprepared to compete was what got Devin into trouble.

Nope, but 3lbs of water weight plays a significant role in your punch resistance. Ryan Garvia is a bum. He’s never won a world title. He will never win a world title. Cutting those 3lbs definetly effected Haneys Punch Resistance. If the fight was at 145 then Haney would easily put point the glass jaw bun.

Hell haney even managed to rock garcia. Garcia has the weakest chin in boxing history.

I’m not any kind of Garcia fan, but that’s pretty damn funny. Garcia rocked Haney with every other punch.

Lmao and he still couldn’t stop him, after the 7th round knockdown haney rebounded and took rounds 8-9 beofre beinf dropped in round 10-11 and ultimately losing his legs. Yeah sure, not a garcia fan. He’s never won a world title. He’s never beaten an elite fighter in his weight class. And he will NEVER do any of them.

Ryan garcia is the worst boxer to ever box at the elite level in boxing history.

...and, yet, he rag-dolled a 2-division and former undisputed world champion. You're a very emotional guy.
