This is a great matchup! These two have been the two names outside of the names casuals are aware of. It's been Bud, Errol, Charlo, and a bit of Ennis as of late but Ortiz and Tszyu have been the two names rarely mentioned but are certainly worthy of being part of that mix. The fact they're fighting each other is great news. Not sure who takes this one. I ignore the Fundora loss as that most certainly would not have happened had that cut not opened. Tim Tszyu is undoubtedly the better fighter between them but Ortiz will be his toughest test to date and vice versa.

Crawford has set his eyes on 154 long before Boots came into the picture. He was already bulking up for a Spence rematch at 154. The Boots fight may still be on the table, but Boots has some work to do at 147.

Fundora is suspended from training until Sept (per the WBC) bc his injuries were "too serious." That would put his next fight at Nov/Dec unless he gets approval from a specialist before then stating he is fully recovered. Tszyu apparently doesn't want to be on the shelf that long. I like this fight better.

Not true at all. By all accounts the rematch was going to happen at 147.

it’s called moving up in weight and making history Crawford just beat Spence nothing to prove at 147 boots can have the division Bud has history to make now at 154

WE ALL KNOW BUD IS BEATING Madrimov (10-0-1, 7KOs). There will be no surprises at all.

But for argument’s sake, if Boots was to move to 154, do you think Bud would fight him?
Or, assuming there was a vacant belt to fight Boots, which fight you think would be bigger? Madrimov or Boots?

No haps in 147 for Boots...flush that gifted belt and jump to 154

You should expect to see the Crawford/Madrimov winner to face the Tszyu/Ortiz. That's why they're all on the same card

Bud will be the favorite but you're underestimating Madrimov. Well established amateur record, highly skilled fighter, he was Dmitry Bivols main sparring partner for his fight with Canelo. Look at Madrimov's fights, they're all on YouTube. he has dominated everyone he's faced
