Happy for Boots! Hope Eddie puts on a good show in Philly! Conor Benn vs. Danny Garcia would be a nice side dish!

I think the bid won't be split the way the IBF says it should be

Crowley would be getting $214k for Cissokho and $585k for Ennis. Both fights are in hostile territory, but at least the Ennis bout is for the full title.

        LAchargers373, TGB promotions bid $2M.

I bet the women fighters have more views than Boots, yet he pays them less than 2% of what he’s paying Boots. Something’s seriously smells here.

last, Eddie seems to not understand that when marketing an Afro American fighter, you better have a Mexican or Puerto Rican or other Hispanic fighter as a dance partner if you don’t want not to go broke. Crawford is the best example. Great fighter but does nothing for the promotion and can’t speak if you put the words in his mouth. It’s going to be a tough lesson Eddie. Don’t say you weren’t told how the game works bro.
Hearn probably bid so high as a gesture of good will. This isn't the first time MR out-bid one of the other big promoters for what was a mandatory title defense. Remember Kambosos/Lopez? That was a pandemic bout where MR didn't even have a horse in the race. At least bidding high on Ennis/Crowley makes more sense. If Crowley doesn't take the fight, it can't be said that MR didn't try. Hearn stated he has a back-up opponent if Crowley declines.

If Benn was staying at 154, then sure. But Benn seems to be working down to 147. Also, it makes more sense for Ennis to get Garcia.
