Devin Haney is not a great athlete

Haneys lack of athelticim was seen in this fight vs Ryan Garcia. He finally fought someone around his size and around his age. The speed difference was seen. The power difference was huge.

Haney has good but not great speed/reflexes. He has very little power for top level boxing.

Haney is not the athlete that Ryan Garcia, Shakur Stevenson, Gervonta Davis or Teofimo Lopez are. Those guys all have elite speed, explosive and/or power.

Haney was moved well and is a good fighter but hes not this pound for pound star that Eddie Hearn and some of Haneys fans made him out to be.

I think Shakur is very similar to Haney. Maybe a little faster but nothing special either with no pop and no heart.

Disagree. Different level of speed and power and distance control. Can actually counterpunch. Has an inside game.

Agree pretty much with everything though we have to add Shakur is also not the fastest nor most powerful either.

Herring, Valdez, Conseciao, and De La Santos didnt have a pulse?

Besides for the fact that Lomachenko chose to fight Kambosos instead of Shakur Stevenson

Don't know about athletic, athleticism, what have you, and what it got to do with boxing performance. But I think it's what you are fed consistently with in terms of opponents. Teo Lopez, for example, didn't do well with Nakatani, Jamaine Ortiz, Martin, Kambosos, but you could tell he'll always be ready for primetime anytime. I don't think you can say the same with Haney.
