Game plan for Haney should not have been complicated. Even halfway into the fight it's so obvious, stay away from the center and keep moving forward. That should have been the theme of his training, learn how to punch moving forward. Garcia is very dangerous when he's left doing his thing. He seems helpless when pursued.

With the way he was getting away with hugging and holding on to Ryan like a little b/tch, maybe his homie Harvey Dock would’ve also allowed illegal blows to the back of the head.

He did his job? Why did Ryan miss weight? Did he correct Garcia from turning his back? It looks pathetic. Garcia was in shape, sure....but I don't see any improvement in his boxing.

Haney is very young. He also seems like a dude who has a good attitude and mindset on his shoulders. He'll be back.

He'll be back much stronger and better working on those holes he needs to repair.. part of the learning process. Forget the undefeated status, most greats have losses on their resumes.

Good job coach. This redeemed both, credit where credit is due. I trashed Garcia coming in

Yea that's what most people thought about your boy Reynoso after Canelo got bodied by Bivol and most of the rest of his "juice crew" went down in flames as well!

most of those wide ass 'forearm first' punches he threw against Tank were gone back that's about it. The shoulder roll was still goofy even though Devin couldn't figure out what to do when Ryan turned his back. It seems like Ryan is a monster for about 30 seconds when he gets a burst of energy. Between those outburts he is the same 'ol same 'ol.

Haney will probably defend his title against a top fighter for good money, but it will be the last time fighting on an elite level. He had his short run at the top. But now, his chin has been exposed. And the fact he has no pop in his punches, it will be very difficult for him to compete with the top fighters of his division. I think he has a hard time making 140, so he will be forced to move up a division and he will become a C class fighter at that point.

Can't give Ryan credit as he cheated on the scale. By the way Ryan still sucks. Gets embarrassed by Ennis.
