I was....let's say angry, how disrespectful Ryan was with the scale.

Not sure why Ry doesn't take the sport seriously.
Being 25 years ''old'' is no longer an excuse.

But as people have said, Haney is a weight bully who goes into the ring massive and he had biased officiating on his side so it evens out.

Considering all that, iâm surprised Garcia managed to win (he deserved it).
i agree with that, harvey dock ****** tonight and protected haney all fight. but there were rounds were garcia would jump on his bike after having haney badly hurt in the previous one, gave ****** rounds away. that's my problem. he gave away the 12 imo for example when he could've finished devin. but instead he decided just to run and stick out his tongue.

You kinda proved my point by bringing up a 15 year old fight. People still care about that I’m just surprised more don’t care that Ryan missed weight badly

im saying keep the same energy. You had no problem with it when it’s your favorite fighter doing it against a guy coming up 2 weight classes, now you’re complaining about it because it’s been done to a guy you’re rooting for lol

              have some consistency.

I agree, but he was considered a unfocused drunk coke head & mentally unstable going in, so what does missing weight matter in that case

Those 3 pounds are a issue considering how much the weight cut takes out of both since they’re both big for the weight, but considering what was said/thought about Garcia going in, it mattered a quite a bit less for this fight

I’m not complaining and please show me where rooting for devin. The other difference is Devin was still cutting weight down to 140. Jmm knew days ahead about the weight

all I said was I’m surprised it’s not a bigger deal. Kinda like Floyd jmm which you keep mentioning

I have zero sympathy for Haney. Really don’t care what Ryan did at the scales, coming in 3lbs heavier and drinking beer.

The way Haney hugged Linares, got a gift versus Lomachenko, and comes in at 165lbs+ for a 140 fight, it makes it hard for me to feel any kind of sympathy. I don’t care if you can make the weight. 165lbs on fight is asinine. I hope Garcia was 180lbs just to out-do this fraud.

Then you have Harvey Dock clearly favoring Haney in the fight, allowing him to hug and hold on to Ryan Garcia without a warning, to the point where Dock had to wrestle Haney away from Garcia.

Just for icing on the why I hate Haney cake, in the post fight interview, he claimed Harvey Dock was allowing Garcia to hold a lot. You can’t make this up. Harvey Dock absolutely helped Haney multiple times in multiple ways. Whether it was his intention or not, he did help Haney. And Haney sh/tted on him.

Haney makes himself too easy to hate and root against. Floyd Mayweather Jr picked the right guy to support in Ryan Garcia. I’m glad that one of my favorite fighters of all time doesn’t show this fraud any support.
