Why didn’t Benavidez and Morrell fight each other? They are on the same side of the street. I’m sure Amazon Prime would have loved to have that fight.

good fight for Morrell. still not sure why people are complaining. the jury is still out on him, is he as good as his eastern euro and cuban counterparts at 10-0? i don't know. wish he was with matchroom or toprank. they'd have him more active. guy should have at least 15 fights by now.

Agreed. Morrell finally fights somebody with some type of solid credibility to his name and Kalajdzic has been on the up since getting hammered by Beterbiev and looked impressive in stopping Barrera(even tho he's been past his best days). Morrell really needs to raise his profile up bc he's just too high-risk low reward for anybody to want to fight him. He looks the part, but needs some more solid names on his ledger to do that and a win over Kalajdzic would be a good start. Should be an intriguing matchup.

Canelo already paid his dues. Fighting Mayweather Cotto Mosley Golovkin etc these kids need to make their own path and journey

Benavidez and Morrell fight a couple of nobodies instead of facing each other, it all worked out for them. So sad they couldn’t fight the good fighters.

To be fair, he tried making a fight with just about every single fighter at 168 and got turned down time and time again. Berlanga, his mandatory, ducked him ON CAMERA. Too high risk/low reward. And it's not like he ever had a chance at getting a shot at Canelo, despite being his mandatory for three years. At least this way, if he acclimates well to 175, both Bivol and Beterbiev WILL give him a shot at a real belt, unlike a certain someone at 168.

This card is shaping up to be a ****er.
