    i agree

boxing should ditch this over rated weight stuff and just go with glove size divisions instead

"Ryan Garcia has revealed he no longer plans to retire in August. The 25-year-old American boxing star made a shock announcement in an interview with talkSPORT.com in 2020, as he said he intended to retire from the sport at the young age of 26"

he might change his mind again if things dont go so well lol

Who said his camp didn't know? His dad was saying "no" when he made the bet at the presser, his dad knew, his team knew, and Garcia himself knew but obiously the guy is not in the right mental state he knew he was not coming on weight and still made the bet shows you something not right with him

You can't put everything on the guy. He made weight in the Tank fight despite all the stipulations. Which means that training staff was more able to force discipline on him. This one didn't GAF.

And this is the first time he didn't make weight.

u can blame the fighter but the fighter will just blame the pressure of social media

so they u have to go further, social media gets the blame but who created social media, are they to blame for this, the fans are on the other end of the social media so are they actually the ones to blame for this mental stuff we see, afterall ryan is simply attempting to live up to the expectations of his social media or what he thinks those expectations are, maybe he should just put the phone down, simple

Lol ur funny ,maybe not all weight divisions but just all this ***** ones with a few pounds difference, 3 lbs , U wud drink more water then that in a day , go back to the classic division no need for all these weight divisions with a few pounds between them adding jr and super and alot in between to create more title s for shows, give s people a chance to be divas and duckers

I could deal with his antics if he came in at 140. But honestly, I do not even know why this fight is still going on. If Garcia wins, they will say he missed weight. If Haney wins, they will say Garcia did not train. I would just put Barboza in there and make it for the title.
