Who Started To Like Boxing, Because Of The UFC or MMA?

I was just wondering who likes boxing more from people who started out ufc/mma fans?

The reason I ask is because I started out combat sports with UFC's first reality tv season of the ultimate fighter. UFC started getting boring to me with the ground game and seemingly repetitive fights. I then started watchings youtube fights of RJJ and Tyson. I was sold after that and realized how big of slobs MMA guys were.

        yea same thing

I was just impressed so much more with boxings best athletes.

I used to be obsessed with mma now i borderline hate it for various reasons. It just grew into a huge meathead sport full of deluded fans and dumbasses.

Exactly man, TUF is what revived the UFC, but now, it could possibly lead MMA back to the underground(I know it's a bit of a stretch). What I mean is, it's only a matter of time until people are gonna feel nauseated from all the meathead behavior.

To the thread question, I was hooked on boxing from watching old Ali fights and the Rocky movies, true story.

But, I found Muay Thai by watching Bloodsport and I found my new passion. It's a shame MT hardly if any, gets coverage in the U.S.

I watch both. I started to watch boxing first and then I watched MMA every now and then. But boxing over MMA anyday.

I watch both but boxing is much more entertaining to me than club fighters that are overhyped by White as the second coming.

i started off being a occasional boxing fan back in the early '02 (watching only the big fights) and then by 03-04 i was strickly watching MMA having that ''HOLY ****!!! MMA IS EVERYTHING IN ONE OMFG !!!'' mentality and then the PBF vs Gatti fight got me back into boxing and after that i started taking boxing classes and realised how sloppy MMA fighters actually were. Nowadays the only time bother watching MMA is when GSP's fighting cause he reps my city and IMO theres nothing to hate about a guy like him or anderson silva

edit: theres alot of and in my post...

Boxing is hands down superior to any other form of fighting it's a known fact and thus cannot be questioned.
