If Taylor's problem vs Pavlik was his stamina

Then what is going to be Williams problem?

He spars with heavyweights. All I read is posters talking about his chin...Like seriously, is that it? Is that what's going to win Pavlik this fight? Williams' chin?.....Okay.

He has abnormal stamina. Keeping up with 100+ punches per round for 12 rounds vs Margarito is something that no other fighter was able to do with Tony at the moment. Who the hell smiles in the 12th round vs a guy like Winky Wright, who's used to seeing his opponents concerned on how to figure his style out?

After his loss to Quintana, he's turned into a better finisher. Winky Wright was not supposed to see the 12th round, that was supposed to be a stoppage loss for Wright because of the punishment his face was taking. But i guess he didn't want to go out like a quitter which is understandable.

I see this as a difficult fight for Pavlik, not Williams. imo.

    Any one else?

I question Pwill's chin at MW. I used to think Pwill would get KO'd in this fight. But by now I see him takin Pavlik's heart. He won't get set to deliver wit the power he needs to KO Pwill imo.

Like Mang said it's his chin. PWill has only faced one middleweight and that was against Winky, who wasn't even a puncher a 154.

I dont think PW chin is proplematic for him. Imo Pavlik will have the issues to deal with. Props to Pavlik for fighting the Man!

Interested to see how well he takes a punch at 160. People keep making an issue out of this, guess because he can be hit easily.

Pavlik has a pretty strong workrate himself, in addition to his power which can wear an opponent down. Williams has simply never been in with a guy like Pavlik before.

And I'm not sure why your acting like Pavlik's power may not be a problem, because it could be.

He has fought a bunch of journeymen at 160 but yeah i guess you can say his first real challenge was Winky.

Yeah, that's what I meant. He did start out fighting in the high 150's, but obviously not the same as fighting Winky.

That's what i was thinking too. But i realized how good Williams is in the inside, remember, Williams doe snot even fight like a tall fighter.

Hopkins beat Pavlik by not letting him get off, having faster hands, and smothering him inside. I see Williams fighting a similar fight only that he will throw more punches and probably clinch more(clinching is the best weapon to use against Pavlik), Taylor never clinched.
