1)How long do rich guys stay interesting in boxing if they aren't making money?

Thats an important question I don't think we got a clue about yet. Maybe they get tired of losing money in 2yrs, maybe 10yrs or maybe they never tire or start making money. Who knows is more my take than a positive or negative take, but it seems like something that'll be relevant sooner or later.

    2)What happens if Turki dies?

We know Turki has some serious illness that sounds life threatening or has in the past been life threatening. This guy might not have a lot of time left to keep this going. And from what I've gathered he seems like a legit hardcore fan with a massive bank acct to make any fight he wants happen. So idk if he passes if he's replaceable.
boxing is as dead as it's ever been. all these sissy boys on social media coming up with any excuse not to fight each other etc. so if this guy comes in for 10 yrs and makes tons of great fights happen them I am over the moon about it. in 11 years you and I may be dead anyway. enjoy it, and stop trying to be a thinker. these guys know what they doing

Im not sure they blame "immigrants" for losing factories or boxing, if anything. My family is immigrants. It's the illegals who get the heat, if any.

I agree but like you said it all comes down to greed

If you can pay some half the regular wage but get them to work twice as long, you are doing a 4x in terms of output and margin.

Politicians sold out their countries to the highest bidders.

I got no horse in the race if Saudis quit investing in boxing tomorrow or they do it for a thousand years. But I can see it going a lot of ways in between those extremes & idk what is bad about talking about it.

I do think this is far more up in the air long term than it is in the next couple yrs. So imma enjoy what they give us in the meantime, but I think those who don't wanna think about it ending are the same ppl who never thought about Daniel Kinahan's influence ending.

Obviously that was a far less grey situation & seemed destined to go sideways, but to think this situation can't or won't go sideways between it seemingly being lighting money on fire + the sketchy government there clearly sportwashing at maximum effort right now is wearing a blindfold in the dark to avoid seeing things that could be a problem.

Oh yeah. This is true. Traded national identity for lower labor costs.
