Terrible take. There's no such thing as an asterisk next to a win due to stuff outside of the ring.

There is no asterisk next to Klitshko-Haye, Ward-Dawson, Pacquiao-Cotto, Lewis-Mccall II, or hell even Mayweather-Pacquiao.

If you take the peoples money and walk into the ring - you own the loss.

its an act, the guy didnt suddenly 'go crazy' in the build up to fighting them bums he has beat... he didnt want the haney fight in the first place and tried to worm his way out, now he has gone the most cowardly route possible by essentially throwing in the towel before he even entered the ring by creating a narrative that he isnt even training properly... the guy is a complete clown and hopefully he just goes down the youtube boxing route after this instead of bringing sport into further disrepute... as for what happens on saturday, more than likely he will quit again

After Floyd/Pac ended they were out of business as PED experts and finance PPV revenue gurus so they had to go to googleU to get their E-edumaction in the mental health field. You gotta adapt in this ever changing world.

No one is forcing him to go ahead with the fight. Haney thinks he's the best no matter what.

But what did Garcia say that has every writer penning the same " mental health concerns " story ?

Was it the whole " Bohemian Grove " thing ?

Hoping Garcia balloons up to 150+ lbs. for the fight. Lean on Haney with that weight. Step on his foot. Another great moment in sports.

Failure to make weight is a cardinal sin for boxers. Garcia has damaged himself, Haney, the fans, and the sport. Cancel the fight.

Find it odd that the examples they’re using in this article of other fights where the credit for the win was minimized were for the most part against elite and legendary fighters. Haney was never going to get full credit for beating a media hype job who rose to stardom primarily due to social media and simpleton fan base that he represents. I don’t care what the reference is but Garcia should never be mentioned in the same article with Leonard, hearns , Duran, Trinidad or Hopkins.
