Then why did it take 12 rds and nearly getting ko'd in the 12th and wobbled numerous times (not to mention turning his back to walk away trying to draw a hit to the back to head) to beat a much older guy with 12 losses?

because that guy had an iron chin and would not stop coming forward and juanma did not put in the neccesarry body work to stop a guy he probably overlooked due to the 12 losses. if gamboa was fighting rogers last night i think he would have been stopped because no matter what gamboa would have landed rogers would not be deterred and eventually that suspect chin of his would get tapped and i dont think gamboa has the chin juanma has. that being said i do believe juanma needs to rematch rogers or fight caballero next anything else is an embarrassment

If it werent because Gamboas has been kd'd 4 times in 16 fights, I would have voted no, but in 27 fights Lopez has beaten an actual champion, has proved he can win a hard fought, 12 rounder fight, and hasnt gotten floored even when he was in the brink of exhaustion.

I remember back when Roy Jones Jr use to have Shane Mosley on his undercards back when he was at 135. Both those cats stole the show. It was like they were competing against each other. With that said I bet Juanma will take every oppenent serious now.

I don't think so, I think he is embarrassed by Gamboa's talent. You know the same talent that no one Gamboa has fought can even win a round against him unless they get lucky and drop him. But Gamboa gets up unhurt and beats the ever living **** out of them. Plus, he hasn't been dropped forever because his defense has gotten so much better.

Gamboa is amazing since he is improving as well..but Rigondeaux just looks like another animal. He's got a hell of a lot of skill.
