It was pretty boring but only because it was so one-sided after the fifth round. I mean, it was one-sided for the whole thing but you at least thought that Arreola might do something but after the fifth round I knew it was all over. Actually, after the second round I knew he wasn't going to be able to do anything.

It was boring but not too boring. It wasn't fall asleep boring, but it was get up and wander around and do other stuff while occasionally coming back to check if anything had happened boring.

    After a few rounds anyway.

Everyone forgets how exciting the Tito fight was! Great KO at the end as well of an entire fight full of great action and brilliant fighting/boxing!

If you were impressed with what Klitschko did surely you can respect what Hopkins did against Tito. High punch out-put, aggression, KO at the end and great action. What's not to like?

I don't. I generally dislike all of Mayweather's latest fights mate. From when he turned to pure backfoot boxer, I stopped enjoying his fights because he stopped fighting.

I was just curious that if someone could enjoy pure domination of a fighter without much two way action, why they wouldn't enjoy a much better fighter technically, doing the same thing?

But, saying that, I have enjoyed many of Klitschko's fights. Not really Wlad's because I really do find him boring sadly, but some of Vit's fights are ok. Like I said though, I don't find them exciting, I just find some of them good. This one though I thought was just kind of ok. I still don't like Mayweather's fights either though mate. Don't know why you thought that. I like watching them from a boxers perspective, but I don't fight anymore so I prefer to watch fights from a fan perspective.

I love a good technical fight but it has to at least have two way action in it. I don't really enjoy any fight that's one-sided. You know?

True...but then there is the case of smaller guys being more skillful. JMM also was a World Champion and is probably going into the HOF...and many believe he took one of those fights in the Pac fight...as well as Floyd starting his career at 130 and Vitali beinng taller and heavier than many of his opponents (and he is in shape unlike most). But either way, it should favor someone to like the other as far as boxing display.

But Floyd has bored me since his move up to 147. His best was when I became a fan of him which was his career from 130-140. Not a fan of his fights at 147+ and I have been critical of him for it.

I was just displaying the KO...and then you have the HL video.

Hopkins wasn't Tommy Hearns so what power he did have was going to decline as he got older. You don't need KO power to be "Great" as seen by fighters like Pep and Whitaker.

Tito is a Hall of Fame fighter who did quite well from 147-160 before being stopped for the first time against Hopkins. Hopkins KO of Echols, a legit MW with power...was also a good win...as well as his stoppages of many others that were legit MW.

You have to list me off the number of HOF fighters Vitali has stopped.

Bring up Hopkins KO over a "smaller" Oscar and we can start with Vitali's KO's of smaller men. And don't bring up fat guys. One thing about lower weight division fighters is that they tend to have to be in shape for a fight to make weight...as well as having skill.

This fight was more boring then Mayweather vs DLH. Arreola wasn't on Vitali's level that's forsure. If Arreola looses weight, and rips a page out of the Tyson legacy, he would be a much better fighter to watch.

According to the poll results, most people enjoyed it. "2501" was wrong.

Not edge of the seat thrilling, but far from boring, an intriguing domination of a game challenger by the champ.

All these fights have to pander to the ADD of the 'casual fan', though, and if they don't, it's automatically the sole fault of the dominant victor of these contests, right?

I thought the fight was a disgrace, it was one of the worst heavyweight fights I have seen since Vitali vs Peter. It wasn't even competitive, it was sad because Arreola clearly wasn't ready for a championship bout.
