Inoue is a star in Japan. I guess he doesn`t have to move to America to prove anything.

but with different timing yes!! Warrington was capable of filling Elland Road when he was unbeaten and if that was now and Inoue came to fight him then certainly yes! But the timing is off about 3 years
          Maybe Nick Ball then?

You fight where you sell tickets if you're smart. And Monster sells tickets in Japan. He fought in the US 3x & it didn't really move the needle.

A potential Monster opp should wanna fight him where theres more money involved & thats in Japan. If there is some opp who can sell tickets in the US to make sense for Monster to fight here I don't see why he wouldn't.

Your legacy & accomplishments are based on what happens in the ring not what country that ring was in.

America doesn't seem to really showcase any of the weight divisions like featherweight and bantamweight, not much this century.

In Asia and even Mexico, they have some top fighters at those very light weights, so to speak.

Inoue is a star there, and worldwide with those that know boxing.

With the internet, social media and how viewing is done nowadays, it's not a must to fight in the USA. A big fight in Vegas or New York is no longer the only venue for most of the big fights.

That’s a good comeback and Inoue is absolutely correct by the way.

the only reason why anybody came to america is money. i love it that fighters can get paid well elsewhere now and they don't have to go there.
americans treated boxers from other places only as stepping stones for their fighters. it would be the best if japan ran boxing. they are usually fair, they don't wait until someone is 30 to get him a tough fight, fights are more evenly matched and so on. if only japan and saudi arabia worked together, boxing would be popular again.

Fact is, boxing fans in America don't support the sport like they used to. Especially the lower weight classes. Stephen Fulton got his biggest payday in Japan, not the USA. He wasn't even that well known here despite being an undefeated, unified champion. And where are these American opponents at 122 that Inoue is supposed to fight in America? Which of them are stars in this country? Inoue is about to fill a 50K seat venue. Who in the USA at 122-126 can do half of that? That was a horrible take by Porter.

****, how many American fighters at ANY weight could fill a 25k arena with no comps, let alone 50.
