Merhy fought Yoka and Lerena in his last two fights, so he's not a complete unknown. Judging by all of the venomous comments towards the fight, I was fortunate to have fallen asleep before it started lol

TR can sense that Anderson isn't ready for bigger responsibilities, so they are being careful with the matchmaking. IDK if TR can trust him as one of their future pillars.

The Martin fight exposed a lot of flaws. I think TR and Jared's team expected him to steamroll Prince Charles. After that fight, they've given him a few soft touches with mixed results. The legal issues can't be helpful in his development as a fighter or TR's confidence in his future.
