The same thing was being said about Hopkins and yet here we are. Hopkins is an ATG
I don't come on here that often, but just had a visit and saw your "he's about to beat Usyk"cpmment. Lol. Fury is the very definition of hype. In the same way the dumbed down American population has fallen for Russian propaganda fed into their brains via social media - in the same way Fury simply told you all he was great and you believed him. Wilder has been proven to be garbage, which many of us actual boxing observers knew already. Likewaise Fraudy isn't much of anything. Usyk beats him again and if he doesn't retire he can get battered by AJ, who is clearly on the slide. Fury's best win after the non fight in Germany is proabably Whyte lol, or Sefer Seferi.
Good luck with Trump btw, you've got yourselves a bona fide ******* there, who also happens to be a moron who dodged the draft and is in charge of your* military. Oh, and he's a rapist and traitor too.

    *Assuming you're an American.

Wow! You are responding on an old post and then going on a rant about the US.

I’m not sure what kind of people you normally argue with about boxing but goodness, not everyone is as mindless and myopic as you might believe.

I was wrong about Fury. I picked him to beat Usyk and I was wrong. Period. I now think Usyk will most likely KO him next month. That said, I still don’t think he’s a hype job. He just happens to fight in a terribly weak era I mean look at AJ, we could say he’s also a hype job, no?
As for our pretzel of a president, I won’t argue - everything you said is true and he is a reflection of where our priorities are and who we are as a society. But how would electing the other clown be any different?

You know, here’s where it gets interesting, we (the West in general and specifically your side of the pond and ourselves), love to brag about how glorious democracy is, we wage wars on others and enforce it on them and we ridicule the rest of the world when they disagree, so our pumpkin winning means democracy won, would you agree? The guy won fair and square. Period.

Thanks for this. Nah...I don't think it was a fair election. Huge amount of lies and misinformation were 'allowed' to be broadcast to a largely uneducated and not very discerning population. There were bomb threats at voting stations, as well as gerrymandering and so on.
We all lost when Trump won. I do like the USA and i travel there often enough and the people are likeable but often misguided. If Americans truly understood what Trump thinks of them, and what he is about to do to dismantle the country as we know it - they'd hang him from the statue of liberty. He will fire the military top brass and cancel the elections. It's basically ***** who runs Trump now.
Yes, AJ was expected to be more than he turned out to be, but at least he fought guys. Parker, Ruiz (who was 33 and, I was at MSG for that shocker too). Dubois and more. Fury only took Wilder because it was a gift at the time to get a title shot, otherwise he was risk averse, and anyway, turns out Wilder was ****e all along, as some of us suspected. FWIW, this Itauma cat will be very hard work for anyone at all, even right now. Kid has all the tools. Hoping for lots more good matches.
Fabio Wardley is a good one, and Zhang can still have a say. I think Z will beat Kabayel but largely be avoided.

The usyk ship has sailed. That was beyond you, trying to outbox the boxer? Try beating josh, and ddd.
You best josh and ddd, then you can retire as 2nd best of era, it's a shame usyk snuck in through side door.

            1. Huge amount of lies and misinformation were 'allowed' to be broadcast to a largely uneducated and not very discerning population. - how is this different from any US election in the last 40 years? Reagan lied about the Iran-Contra affairs, George Sr lied about the first Gulf War, Bill bombed the Balkans and Sudan to deflect from Monica, George W lied about the invasion of Iraq, Drümph lies about everything, Byden lies about the Middle East, Owbämá continued the drone wars in Pakistan and appointed the same crooks under George and all got re-elected based on those lies. Except for Papa Bush of course.

We have enforced democracy around the globe and now they are literally emulating what we do. African countries are using tribalism as their gerrymandering by electing people from their tribe, Iraq is now a sectarian country where Shias and Sunnis are just as divided as the Repüblǐcanes and Dems.

We brag about our “greatest country in the world” all the time so we are not misguided. We make choices based on the greatest thing on the planet I.e democracy so we must live with our choices.

Look at how fear mongering has gotten in the UK and Europe. The far-right have managed to convince the majority that immigrants are their problems. How is that any different from us?

I agree, Zhang will beat every heavyweight except Usyk.
