I'm glad Boots has some kind of forward movement regarding possible activity. At the same time, we have to acknowledge something. No matter who Boots is signed with, it's the boxers themselves who have to be willing to face him. Boots is a guy that some people just will not fight, period. Some fighters avoid guys for fear it will hurt their marketability. Some avoid guys for fear that the guy will seriously fu...k them up. Boots is a guy that will do both- he'll hurt u physically, mentally, and mess up ur career because of the way he'll hurt you. He'll knock u out, ruin ur reflexes and ur nervous system. He'll mess up the nerves in ur chin, to where u can't take a punch no more. And fighters know that. And they are afraid of that happening. Getting hit with that type of timing, accuracy, speed, power, & with the workrate combined, no one is eager to face that kind of punishment

We don't know the exact reason why Crowley/Ennis didn't happen, or why it didn't go to purse-bid. We also don't know if PBC bothered to put up a bid on Crowley's behalf for this WBC purse bid. We do know that Crowley is trying to swerve Ennis (IBF) by going down the WBC route. However, is Crowley going to fight Cissokho for $214k?

What will delay the Benn fight is Benn's pending suspension. Ennis can't worry about that though, just get someone in the ring ASAP because he's about to reach a year of inactivity.
