PBC's first show on Prime tanked, ESPN looks to be on the outs, and DAZN has it in real good with a foreign investor.

Ennis has realized the limits of not having a big promotion behind him. Only problem is all the best fights are a division above and below '47.

Ennis can take a couple years to unify and/or wait for the names at 140 to move up, or dare to be great at 154.

      Great signing.

What is the point of signing with the promotions once you're a recognized top fighter in a division?

Just keep beating mandos, stay independent and active then top names will see the value in fighting you once you build a rapport with fans

What are his other choices? He couldn't even get the Barrios fight.
Took IBF ordering the Crowley fight to shake things up a bit.
Even then no effort was made to make that fight happen.
Looks like that fight would eventually land on DAZN. Another showcase fight for Ennis.

He might even get sued for racial bias. We've seen it before but I don't remember who it was.

This is a very unexpected move, and a signing that I'm pretty sure Hearn didn't telegraph in any interview. Let's see where this goes. Logical move would be to get him a fight in Philly next. That Crowley fight needs to go to purse bid now.

MR's primary goal for Ennis should be activity. Get him a fight as quickly as possible.
Eddie has said he's trying to sign Boots for months btw. Team Boots have said they were interested in Matchroom.

I give Hearn his share of stick but this is a great move that makes PBC look bad as well. PBC should be using the Amazon money and platform to turn Ennis and the next wave of boxing stars into PBC signature fighters for years to come. Instead, it’s using the Amazon platform and money to try and wring a few more paydays for washed PBC favorite sons like Spence.
