Boots and Bozy already rejected the Benn fight. It's all on Youtube. Meaning, it's not up to Benn or Hearn. It's up to Bozy and Boots. It takes two to tango.

At 147 there is Cody Crowley and Hearn could probably afford Giovanni Santillan.

80% of light middleweights are at PBC though, unless he gets a belt there perhaps.

Ennis doesn't need a big fight, he just needs to FIGHT. Get any IBF-ranked guy and beat them up, then do it again in Philly, then do it again in Brooklyn. Ennis' inactivity has stifled his career, so MR and Team Ennis need to go back to square one. How do you build up a fighter? By staying ACTIVE! He has a title, so he has a modicum of leverage. Boots cannot afford to be picky, just get in there and treat every opponent like it's the fight of your life.

Matchroom might not have the deepest roster at 147 but at least they’ll keep him active.

This is no guarantee that no smoke will actually fight anyone.

...and this may not be a long-term deal either. MR signed Prograis to 3 fights, and it's possible they did the same with Matias. If they have Ennis for 3 fights as well, then their primary objective should be to prove to Boots that he's a priority. If Ennis fees like he's made progress after three fights, then he's likely to sign on for another 3.

For this to work, MR is gonna need for GBP to cooperate, and I don't see that happening.

He has all ready fought like 30 journeyman. He needs to fight some bigger names now to also get his name out there.

Good move. Eddie is the best there is at increasing your profile which is exactly what Boots needs.

It's a thin division right now. Crowley and Barrios would be about the biggest names PBC have and those aren't all that great either. Cash out Benn and idk whatvthey have. Cissokho? Giyasov?
