Will his year of inactivity affect David Haye on Nov 7?

Will David Haye be affected by the year on inactivity when he fights Nicolay Valuev?

Haye has fought only once since early March 2008 - one fight in nearly 20 months - against a shot Monte Barrett, who had lost by KO 2 to Cliff Couser in 2007.

No, not at all. Haye doesn't need to fight often

It may affect him a bit, but it won't be a major factor

Yes, I think the inactivity is bound to have affected him

He's not very good anyway, so it doesn't matter

there's no such thing as inactivity if you workout(sparring etc) all year round, which david haye does...or does he?

Possibly, but I don't know if Valuev can take advantage of it however.

I don't think so. he is 29 and if he trains and spar he shouldbe alright. especially when he fights slow moving Nicolaiy. But I see it opposite way. Valuev doesnt like David. He just need to clinch David for 4-5 rounds and david will be tired. wouldnt be surprised if David loses this fight

Im very worried about it. Hes never had the best stamina. And I dont see him knocking Valuev out....especially early. Hes gonna have to go 12 with a man twice his size potentially leaning all over him.

29 use to seem old for a boxer but it's about prime these days. However 1 year is never good ebcause sparring and training are nothing like a real fight. You gotta deal with the big day and nerves etc...

Plus a real fight gives you confidence.

I put a little but not a major factor simply because Valuev is the biggest fight of his life and I'm sure he has been working ahrd.

Don't jinx us Larry. Val needs to get his belt taken before Haye gets taken out. Haye beats Val, then Tua or the K bros kill Haye is the ideal scenario homey.
