Facts are : AJ hasn't fought a legit top 10 guy in over 2 years and his win over Parker was 6 years ago.

Joshua and Parker are not the same fighters they were then.

Parker is wayyyy better NOW. AJ is...who the **** knows, but I'm saying diminished ; A shadow of his former self until he fights a legit top 5 guy.

Parker's first loss was to AJ. Start with avenging that. Then Whyte, then Joyce, if they've earnt it.

Joshua is the only one who's earned another shot at Parker, and Parker's done more than enough to earn a first shot at Usyk, Fury or Hrgovic over Joshua.

They they beat the best of the best while they were at their best. He hasn't done that.

In the last year he's ducked Wilder, Parker, Zhang and Hrgovic. The year before it was Fury and Joyce.

I think it's a valid point.

Joshua has consistently taken the easiest path to relevancy and rating. They are good wins so he's able to say things like beat highly rated X or the guy who put Fury down or Cut Fury or whatever, but no one was ever claiming Wallin>Joyce. Wallin was the easier path. He did it with Martin, he did it as champion. The only real great win Josh has is Wlad and it's an old man leftover win.


That said, I think both can be true. I'm riding the AJ comeback train and I acknowledge he could have made harder fights.

Which of those are the better wins ? Who deserves first dibs at a title based on those wins ?

If Parker had rematch options he would have used them to avenge his losses. Not everyone or even anyone has the A-Side Joshy advantage of every fight having a rematch clause.

Whyte and Joyce can earn their rematches now unless Parker deigns to reward them. AJ is a chicken crossed with duck when it comes to facing Parker again.
