Lopez can't beat Gamboa in my opinion because Gamboa has a big speed advantage. Gamboa is skilled too, it's just that his defense is leaky.

and I don't need to see into the future, I just need to go off of top ranks history with fighters! They will protect him from tough fighters from other banners period! The will steer him away from anyone they feel could possibly beat him unless it's another top rank fighter! We both agree he should fight cab and it's obvious he's not in control of his career! You want to be understood and I understand that but understand my point as well! I attacked one small part of your post! And if it hurt your sensitive feelings that badly, I apologize!

Did you see last nights fights? Gamboas defense leaky? Compared to JML's defense, its amazingly insanely great. And Gamboas defense last night looked spectacular his opponent couldn't even hit him. And Gamboas barely lost a round, with the exceptions of getting knocked down for letting his guard down at times. Gamboas defense is insanely great when he doesn't lower his guard.

          Gamboa by KO

This would be a good throwdown, I've got some sloppy D, a KD for Lopez early against Gamboa and Gamboa blowing Juanma out with a mid to late violent KO. I dont give a **** how it ends, I wanna ****en see it. Both dudes can crack....

I think Juanma beats Gamboa but caballero would beat juanma. Gamboa's style fits in for Juanma. Juanma wud just press him and counter with a hook that Gamboa can often be open for when he does jump in. Juanma by ko. but caballero on the other hand wud pressure him like mtagwa did... and with his chin and power together... he ko's juanma later

I feel that Gamboa can beat JuanMa with his speed and movement. Matagwa was using movement as well as pressure to hit him and I think that the movement played a bigger role than pressure because Pendalosa was a pressure fighter but got stopped.

Gamboa, has speed and movement and is clearly being more patient now than in previous fights. He saw from the fight last night that fast straight rights (both his straights and hooks with the right hand are much straighter and faster than Matagwa's ) can hit Lopez and trouble him.

Gamboa has far better balance than Matagwa and better boxing skills, he can pressure at a distance or in close.

Why some people believe because a fighter is faster than another one he will beat him? I've seen Gamboa fighting in numerous occasions, my opinion is he does not know how to fight, he starts throwing wide punches, and he only needs someone intelligent to throw several straight punches to the head to KO down his crystal chin. Gamboa has shown that he does not have a good defense; he only showed that he throws disorganize punches. Whenever Juanma fight this guy he will KO him in less than 6 rounds. I think people are making Gamboa like he is the eighth wonder of the world; he is just an inflated boxer like Hatton. Since he started boxing, I compared with him.

Juanma was supposed to beat Matagwa in under 8 rds too, didn't happen that way now did it?

All these people acting like Juanma was in that ring by himself! That Matwga or whatever came to fight and had nothing to lose. He actually had everything to win. They guy fought dirty as hell too. He came in with the head, hit Juanma behind the head when he was tangled in the ropes and hit after the bell on a few ocassions. With all that and the punishment he gave Juanma, I was impressed by the way he survived and the heart he showed. He had the fight won and even if that last rd. was a 10-8 rd. he woul've won it. Gamboa is calling him out now because of what he saw but he'll be fighting a different Juanma if they fought(which we all now won't happen). I do agree with Caballero, Juanma's team was talking about negotiations on Sunday but when Arum was asked in the ring Cabalero's name wasn't even mentioned. I still believe that fight should happen and still have Juanma by ko when it does. Caballero would've lost to Rogers last night.

I didn't see Gamboa last night, but I still don't think he is ready. From what I hear, Juanma was in a real war. Gamboa has faced adversity, but not like Lopez at this point. He needs more experience...

Your out of it. Gamboa can't fight? He's an inflated boxer like Hatton? Laughable.
