I think he'd beaten guys like Arguello, Kid Chocolate, and plenty of primitive cavemen like Johnny Killbane and Abe Atell

I dont think he'd beat the cream of the crop like Willie Pep or Sal Sanchez, but he'd be competitive

Loma has been fighting at a size disadvantage for most of his career, people fail to notice this. He fought his legendary amateur career at 130, he only moved up as a professional searching for legacy and bigger purses, and also because he's getting older. It sucks but Loma turned pro too late, and we only had a glimpse of what he could do in his prime, similar to Rigondeaux.

130-135's not Loma's ideal weight, he's only been succesful because of his vastly superior skills compared to current LW fighters, but I don't see him beating many historical greats due to size disadvantage, I don't see him beating a Duran of Armstrong at 135.

Loma came to the fight injured, that's why he barely threw any punches for like 7 rounds, when he finally decided to throw in the final rounds, he was SCHOOLING and dominating Teo, too bad it was too late

Teo won that fight merely by being active despite punching Loma's gloves and missing hits all night, Loma was always the better fighter, and if he was healthy, he'd have wrecked Teo. That's why Teofimo ran away from the rematch like a *****, same thing Salido did
Crazy how much you people still hype him up even after all his losses. Top fighter but the way some of you make out like he is the best fighter of the last 20 years or something.

"When he finally decided to throw" you mean his injury magically healed after Round 7 enabling him to throw a lot more? Excuses. He was wary of Teos power that is why he wasn't throwing. He got schooled. Lost in his 3rd fight, lost to Haney, lost to Teo. Calm the hype now till he fights some top fighters and gets some Ws

Shakur vs Loma need to fight at 135.
