He has actually lost a lot of weight.

Ruiz has had what 3 different opponents in 5 years he's facing very similar issues after a loss at PBC as he had at TR when he lost to Parker...

Stick a fork in him, he's done at least at a meaningful level.

Get him in the ring with Joe Joyce. That'd be a fun fight!

In an interview to Chisora, in Saudi, he said he will be good to return May or June.

Ruiz vs Chisora is a good return bout, by the way.

I would like to see the Dillian White fight as well, maybe Wilder.

All jokes aside, I always thought that Ruiz was a rather talented fighter with good power, speed and lots of heart. It's a shame that inactivity and overeating have put his career in jeopardy. Maybe he'll come back.

Good to know. I wasn’t aware of that.

Ruiz was quite entertaining fighter to watch. Think that it is difficult for a normal person to be disciplined and keep going through grueling training when he has already reached the top of the mountain and have gotten all he needed to settle down.

Once Andy joined Reynoso's camp trying to change his fighting style while focusing on changing his physique for aesthetic purposes, he probably thought it was too much at some point, same person who had lost partly due to lack of effort when it came to training in the first place.

Aware that the chances are low to none, but I kinda wanted to see how the upcoming prospect Richard Torrez would fair with Andy Ruiz. Also against top fighters surely, but the guy has been inactive and is going to turn 35 years old.
