Cannot imagine a world where boxing is not part of the IOC. Crazy to even ponder it when you consider how many all time greats came up through the Olympics.

Same here. Seems mind-boggling that boxing, one of the original Olympic sports, is fighting for its life. Hate to say it, but this appears to be an indication of the health of the sport as a whole.

Sad state of affairs indeed, as Cu****uyNYC state's one of the original Greek sports that needs rescuing. What a shame it's now being overlooked for the likes of break dancing & synchronised swimming!!

I hate sports getting shafted because of world politics.
