Yeah, he’d have the belt, but he got so much more than that by continuing to fight.

Tim endeared himself to fans by showing tremendous heart, gave fans a memorable fight, elevating himself despite the loss, elevating Fondura, thus increasing the value of the rematch, possibly setting up a legit trilogy and bringing attention to 154 that has been an afterthought since JMW Charlo embarrassing fake attempt at fighting against Canelo.

Added to that, his potential fights with Charlo and Crawford will be bigger.

he also took 200 punches to the head because he couldn’t see 100% whilst donating pints of blood to the canvas

he sacrificed the rest of his career in a loss. He didn’t win. It’s an L on top of all the unnecessary damage

He could be a ruined fighter as we speak

this is one of the dumbest moves I’ve seen in boxing history

I don't think Tim's team gives a hoot about the internet. Tim got stick for trying to fight old time at middle weight and being proud of it. Fundora was pouring blood too and he didn't quit. Champions always have to overcome something. Speed, power, or circumstances. What kind of champion only wins at 5 to 1 odds and unscratched?

I feel like people on Twitter and social media that are claiming Tim was always a hype job are pretty ignorant. That man put in 10 rounds with basically no vision. If anything his stock has soared after this

true old school throwback warrior. No quit. No surrender. Did his dad proud and WILL be a champ again. I have nothing but respect for him. He would of taken the challenge of Crawford with no issues.

Unlike Fundora Biitch Asss who trying to find the weakest opp he can. We all know Errol is a finished fighter who can’t compete with elite guys.

Let’s say Hypothetically Spence beats Fundora becomes WBC champ. What’s he gonna do if Crawford gathers every other title? He sure won’t fight bud.

He done all he could to AVOID bud. It’s cowardly. I loved EJ when he first turned pro. Watched him from a cell in Olympics and followed his whole career. I can’t believe what he’s become. A scary ass *****.

There's no comparison between Fundoras nose and Tims head in my opinion. Tims cut was caused accidentally, Fundoras nose was broken by Tszyu. It's not the same at all.

I agree with you 100%. The doctor even knew after checking the cut after the 2nd round that it should be stopped but Amazon 1st card they had a lot riding. Also agree with your assessment about EJ. Dude was my favourite fighter when he took out Brook in England. Haven’t seen that guy since. Errol fell way off. He don’t even talk right no more. He should retire fundora will destroy him

Algieri is right. I said the same thing. Why didn't the fight go to the scorecards? I get it. Perhaps, based on the first two rounds Tszyu's corner probably thought he would win.

Now that he lost, Tszyu really doesn't have much bargaining power. Fundora is not going to give him an immediate rematch. Fundora is going to chase big money fights with either Crawford or Spence. He might be able to face one of the two, if one signs to fight Fundora. Perhaps since both of their last fights are losses, Tszyu can step in the ring with Charlo.

Tszyu's situation would be way different, if his corner asked to go to the scorecards. Take the out, live to see a better day, another day.

Or they can just reach down deep and be the fighters they are and fight through it the way fighters from older generations did

While I respect Tim's bravely effort, I haven't seen anything on Fandora. Having his nose broken and bleeding
profusely I would say is worse injury to fight throw. I didn't see fight live, but If Tim is touching that broken nose
with jabs and right hands round after round, Fandora is also 1 brave soul.
